They shouldn't have used their own special HDDs in the first place... Anyway, good for the developers and I hope they use the space they have available as good as possible.
Actually, bad camera can kill games. It did with Sonic The Hedgehog 2006, for example. That game was almost unplayable because the camera was stiff as wood and alway changed when you were jumping or in the middle of a transition.
The worst game I ever owned and played has to be Sonic The Hedgehog 2006. I won't go into detail, because if you want to know about the limitless flaw just read the reviews, but Sonic played like he was a turtle that had his feet stuck in his own ass while conveniently dieing of old age. Worst 60 euros I ever spend.
Day one purchase for me if it can add to what skate. established.
Oh please yes. Since they sure as hell won't come to Europe, at least give us a US version so I can import and play in a language I understand.
I miss the time when the E3 was THE place to be for gaming companies. All the excitement, the magazines with all the coverage, footage, impressions, the extra pages and specials about the new consoles... Oh well, now theres the internet.
In case you included me when you wrote haters:
I don't hate games, that would be silly, they don't do anything to me. Additionally, the chance of me playing this games are quite high. Because either it will be published by Microsoft for PC someday (don't know about that, though) or I will play it on an actual XBox360 since I intend to buy one as soon as I have enough money to spare (plus I NEED to play DOAX2, thats the only game I want to see go multiplatform).
Actually, I did some programming in my life. I am by no means a professional nor would I (or others for that matter ^^) call myself that. Yes, I know how hard programming is. You learn the syntax, the language itself, you write some pseudocode, try it, you make a mistake, you spend hours trying to find the error. Thousands, millions or even billions of lines. I know the feeling of relief, joy and a bit of proudness when your baby is up and running and performs as you wish, it's great. About t...
Well... While I am quite sure that the Solid Snake saga won't be matched, I'll still give another Metal Gear a try. Maybe they can create a new saga that can stand on it's own.

What?
"...and focused on something that would work for what we're doing..."
That's what you are supposed to do. You are a developer, your job is to make code run on hardware. Nothing to brag about, imho.
Anyway, I hope the game is going to be really good. I have high hopes for it.
Because people want things to improve.
I like ATi's new approach. Instead of making the best high-end GPUs and selling them for 500$+, they go for the top in the performance sector and sell their top line for about 300$ (estimated). Having THE best GPU in the portfolio is nice and means a lot of prestige, but I imagine most people don't buy cards for 500$+ cards. Plus, their power saving features are the most advanced. I am really looking forward to the first benchmarks of the 4870 and the GTX280. Maybe Crysis is finally playable...
The more the merrier, especially when it comes to car driving games.
EDIT: Disagree? So you want less cars?
skate. was the best thing to happen to skateboarding games since Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2.
The PS3 version was just as bad. I remember shaking my head at all the reviews and thinking "It can't be THAT bad!". Little did I know. When the PS3 launched here (Europe)I went out to get my PS3 and along with it 2 games, R:FoM and Sonic. After playing both for 5 minutes I realized that I would sell one of them immediately. *Hint: I still have R:FOM*
Sonic just played like he was a turtle that has it's feet stuck in his own ass and is conveniently dieing of old age.
If somebody told me 5 years ago that a mat and a remotecontroller would become the best selling things in gaming, I would have laughed til I dropped dead. Anyway, good for Nintendo!
Exactly what I mean. Walkthroughs are nice, but only as good as the descriptive skills of the writer. A video on the other hand is the next best thing after taking the controller yourself and saying "There, that's how you do it.".
Correct me if I am wrong please, but... thats just a bot. A very high end and complex bot yes, but it's not likee he chooses what to do and how to respond. All he does and is able to was written by the programmer(s) - something thats standard since years. Nice accomplishment nonetheless.
EDIT: About that response thing. If you ever used OpenKore - just google it - you will see how easy it is to create routes for correct answering. Plus, it is available since quite a while (sever...
"I did not get a PS3 because of the memory card usage on the original playstation."
Wait... Correct me if I misunderstood you, but are you saying tha you didn't buy a PS3 because the first PlayStation used memorycards? If thats true, man, you gotta forgive after all these years.
